Massachusetts State Funders Present Five Grant Awards to Community Healthlink
Community Healthlink was recently awarded five separate grants from three various Massachusetts state funders. These monetary awards will help us further our commitment to promoting, restoring, and maintaining the physical health, mental health and dignity of adults, children and families in Central Massachusetts who are experiencing mental illness, addiction, or homelessness.

The Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care has awarded our Together for Kids (TFK) program the Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation Grant for $733,492 for FY25. TFK provides a comprehensive mental health promotion, prevention, and intervention model of service comprised of the following components:
- infant, toddler, preschool, and school age (ages 5-13) behavioral health consultation for educators and families,
- trainings for educators and families on a variety of topics related to social-emotional health in children,
- referrals for more intensive services (e.g., child/parent psychotherapy, psychological assessment).
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has awarded Community Healthlink a contract to provide General Early Intervention Services. Our Early Intervention Services program provides family-centered, community-based services for infants, toddlers, and families. Children ages birth to three may be eligible for Early Intervention services if they have identified disabilities, or if typical development is at risk because of certain birth or environmental circumstances.
The Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) presented Community Healthlink with grant awards for three of our programs.
Community Healthlink’s Motivating Youth Recovery (MYR) program was allotted a two-year grant to continue operation of the program - the only residential adolescent detox program in the Commonwealth.
BSAS also awarded Community Healthlink a master agreement contract for BSAS to serve as the Payor of Last Resort for ambulatory outpatient services for adults impacted by substance use disorders. This includes individual counseling, group counseling, recovery coaching, and master’s and non-master's case management.
Lastly, Community Healthlink’s Transitional Support Services (TSS) program was awarded a master agreement from BSAS to extend operation of the service. The TSS program is a step-down program that provides inpatient substance abuse treatment and transitional support. The main goal of the program is to prepare clients to transition into the community and connect them with appropriate community resources so they will be in the best position to remain sober.
Thank you to these Massachusetts State Funders for continuing to support our mission and thank you to all our caregivers for striving to improve the lives of our community and consumers.
