Hiring Process

We welcome your interest in a career at Community Healthlink (CHL). You may begin the job application process by viewing our open positions here.

Step One: Create a Profile
First, you’ll create an online profile and, if you wish, you may also submit your resume, cover letter and (3) supervisory references to specific positions in which you are interested and qualified. Afterward, your resume and profile will appear next to the position or positions for which you’ve applied. Because much of the communication regarding your candidacy will take place through email, please be sure to check your email during this process.

Step Two: Selection Process
Your information will then be reviewed by our recruiter, and if there is a match between your resume and an open position, your resume will be forwarded to the hiring manager for review. If they are interested in pursuing your candidacy, they will contact you for phone screening or for an in-person interview.

If you are not selected for a telephone screening or an in-person interview, your resume and profile will remain in our online database for future reference. You may update your resume and profile in our tracking system at any time by logging into your online profile with your user name and password. If you need help with your password, there are prompts on the log-in page to guide you.

Step Three: Preparing for the Interview
In order to be prepared for your interview, your manager may provide you with specific instructions as to what you should bring with you to the interview.  You may also prepare yourself by clicking  here to download your employment application and CORI form. CHL requires (3) supervisory, work-related references.  Personal references are not accepted; arriving prepared is the first step to a positive impression.

Step Four: The interview
Once you are selected for an in-person interview, you will meet with the hiring manager and possibly other managers to discuss your qualifications for the position. Please review the interview preparation page before your interview.

Step Five: The Offer
Conditional offers may be made verbally by the hiring manager, contingent upon approval of the paperwork requesting your hire. Official letters of offer will sent via e-mail to the email address you listed on the career center. On your first day of work, you’ll come to our Human Resources location for a mandatory Orientation to complete pre-hire paperwork and show proof of your authorization to work in the United States. Your hire letter will provide instructions for your orientation. You will also be meeting with our Employee Health/Infection Control Nurse for a review of your immunizations and a Tuberculosis (TB) test.
