The School Support Services program provides consultation, training and support to professionals and parents as they learn to interact more effectively with children who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties.

Community Healthlink, Inc.’s School Support Services staff includes master’s level social workers, mental health counselors, and psychologists. They work with students, parents and educators in more than 50 public and private schools in one dozen school districts in Central Massachusetts. They are skilled at developing a link between parents and educators and creating strategies that encourage and enable everyone to work cooperatively and comfortably toward common solutions.

Community Healthlink, Inc. staff also help at-risk youngsters and teens deal with the issues that can distract them and prevent them from succeeding in the classroom. These services are provided at each youngster’s school.
