Patricia Mays House

The Patricia Mays House is a substance abuse treatment program serving pregnant and postpartum women and their children. The project is a joint effort of Community Healthlink, Henry Lee Willis Center, and the Institute for Health in Recovery.

The program can serve five pregnant or postpartum women and their infants and another five pregnant or postpartum women, with their children regardless of age.

Services include: culturally relevant substance abuse treatment; specialized pregnant/ postpartum education and support services; individual and group counseling; specialized counseling services for children; mental health services, including trauma services; case management and advocacy services; and housing search and stabilization services.

Clients served must be pregnant or postpartum (0-12 months) and have custody of one or more children, or have the ability to reunify with a child in the program. Women do not need to be homeless, receive TAFDC, or be DSS-involved to be eligible for admission.
