BUDD Day Treatment

(Building Up the Developmentally Delayed)

Budd Day treatment is designed to meet the mental health needs of the developmentally disabled person in our community as well as the concerns of the client’s family and support system. It is a program that helps individuals who are experiencing psychiatric illness and/or behavioral disturbances.

Budd provides a full-time day placement with a side spectrum of clinical services and interventions that address an individual’s problems and return him/her back to the community as quickly as possible. Budd uses a multidisciplinary team approach to treatment planning and employs groups, behavioral and individual therapies, and psychiatric evaluation and monitoring. Interventions are goal-specific and short-term in nature. Planning to transition individuals back into the community begins from the day of admission. Diagnostic assessments are ongoing. Additional evaluations and assessments are arranged as needed.
