Community Healthlink's Youth & Family Services offers a variety of mental health, substance abuse treatment, and social services throughout Worcester County. More than 5,000 children and adolescents receive services annually through Youth & Family Services programs in Worcester, Clinton, Leominster and Fitchburg.

Community Healthlink’s Youth and Family Services Division includes:
•    Early intervention for toddlers and pre-schoolers with developmental delays, including speech and learning disorders, and autism.
•    Together for Kids' preschool intervention to address behavioral problems in the classroom and help prepare children for Kindergarten.
•    Community-based treatment services and support for youth who suffer from serious mental illness, including Burncoat Family Center.
•    A mental health clinic for child, adolescent and family counseling.
•    School-based services for elementary and middle-school students whose behavioral and emotional disorders have caused disruptions in their education and delays in their social development.
•    A youth mobile crisis intervention team for children, teens and their families in crisis.
•    Substance abuse treatment and recovery programs for teenagers, including Highland Grace House, the only residential recovery program for teen girls in Massachusetts.
•    Therapeutic services, advocacy and outreach for children and teens who have witnessed violence or been victims of violence, sexual assault, abuse and other crimes.

Funding for these programs and services comes from state and local government contracts, federal grants, private foundation grants, and third-party insurers, including MassHealth. Government funding is provided through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families, Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Massachusetts Department of Mental Health, and the Massachusetts Department of Disability Services.
