Coming to Community Healthlink? Here's how we'll keep you safe while we keep you healthy
Your safety and well-being are our top priorities. Because your health is our focus, we’re enhancing our already high standards to ensure the safety of all our clients and staff. We understand you may be hesitant — that you may have concerns about on-site treatment, but when waiting can mean much worse, trust that you are safe at Community Healthlink. We’ve added strict safety measures to ensure the health of our clients and staff. Our offices, exam rooms, waiting areas, and reception areas are safe places.
Safe Entrances
All clients and staff must enter our buildings through a designated entrance to ensure everyone who enters is following all safety protocols.
Health Screening
All clients and staff receive a health screening before entering any CHL building to ensure that they are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or other contagious illness.
Personal Protective Equipment
We provide all staff and clients with masks when entering our buildings. Masks help decrease the spread of disease. Some staff members may also wear additional personal protective equipment, such as gowns, gloves, or goggles.
Social Distancing
The layout of our waiting rooms has changed to ensure a safe distance between our clients. Clients are seated in areas that are at least 6 feet apart, and medical screens/partitions help enhance client privacy and safety while you wait. Check-in lines have markings for 6-foot separation between clients in line.

Extra Cleaning
Our team has always done a tremendous job keeping our buildings clean. Our protocols have been enhanced during the pandemic to ensure that common areas and high-touch surfaces, such as doors, elevators, and exam rooms are cleaned even more frequently.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Testing
Before you are admitted into any of our inpatient or residential programs you will be tested for COVID-19. Testing is done at our Urgent Care department, and we will use quarantine protocols for clients within our programs as we await test results. This includes:
- Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU)
- Detox
- PASSages
- Transitional Support Services (TSS)
- Beryl’s House
- Faith House
- Orchard Street
- ACCS Group Living Environments
Don’t delay receiving behavioral health or primary care
Your health is important and treatment is available. If you have a substance use or mental health concern, don’t delay your care. Not being seen could cause an increase in symptoms or further deteriorate your health.
At Community Healthlink, we have a variety of ways to care for you safely. In addition to our safe on-site care, we offer telehealth options for many of our services. Your CHL clinician or care provider can give you more information about virtual visits.
